Zoran Ljutkov has been named the new Minister of Culture and Tourism in North Macedonia as part of the newly appointed coalition government led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
Ljutkov succeeds Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojcevska in this role.
Ljutkov’s mandate spans four years, during which he will be tasked with transforming the current Ministry of Culture into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Born on 1st October 1977, in Veles, Ljutkov graduated in acting from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in 2001. Since 2006, he has been affiliated with the Drama Theater Skopje, serving as its artistic director from 2010 to 2014. His extensive career includes numerous stage performances both domestically and internationally, as well as roles in films and TV series. In 2021, Ljutkov was elected president of the Council of the Municipality of Veles and served as a selector for the drama program at the Ohrid Summer International Festival.
