Rama Pledges Albania’s Support for Kosovo in Belgrade Normalisation Deal

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, affirmed today that his nation will support the authorities in Pristina as they carry out the Principal Agreement on Normalisation with Belgrade.

In a statement on social network X, he announced his imminent visit to Pristina to extend his personal endorsement.

“I couldn’t be prouder of Albania’s steadfast and tangible contribution to the ongoing arduous process of normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia. However, the draft statute of the Association of Serb Municipalities, which both Kosovo and Serbia have accepted as a suitable working document, is an EU draft. Albania will resolutely back Kosovo in the implementation of the Principal Agreement and will continue to champion peace, stability, and regional cooperation among all nations in our vicinity,” Rama articulated.
