A large majority of Croatian citizens continue to view the country’s membership in the European Union positively, with 81% saying they see the EU as a source of stability, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey. The findings place Croatia among the member states with the strongest public support for the bloc.
Despite the positive perception of EU membership, inflation remains the issue that concerns Croatians the most. Rising living costs and price increases continue to top the list of national priorities, reflecting broader economic pressures experienced across Europe.
The survey also found strong backing for common European policies, including cooperation on security, defence and economic resilience. Respondents expressed confidence that the EU is better equipped to address global challenges when member states act together.
The results suggest that while economic concerns remain at the forefront of public opinion, Croatians continue to view European integration as an important source of stability, security and long-term development.
