From 24 to 27 September, Rovinj will once again become an epicentre of creativity, knowledge and networking, this time through as many as eight specialised festivals. Alongside the well-known Weekend.19, Tech.Weekend, HR.Weekend, Finance.Weekend, Investment.Weekend and Energy.Weekend are arriving, together with two new formats: Health.Weekend and Education.Weekend.
Weekend.19 is becoming a meeting point for topics that no longer belong to just one industry. Artificial intelligence, health, education, finance, energy and media now overlap in every conversation about the future — and it is precisely these kinds of conversations that Weekend is bringing to the stage.
From Silicon Valley to the manosphere — new speakers at Weekend.19
This year’s programme brings a powerful combination of global and regional perspectives.

James Bloodworth, a British journalist and author, comes with topics covering social inequality, contemporary masculinity and the manosphere. His book Lost Boys opens up questions of loneliness, radicalisation and online subcultures shaping younger generations.
Fredrik Haren, globally known as The Creativity Explorer, is one of the world’s leading speakers on creativity and innovation. He is the author of ten books, including The Idea Book, and in Rovinj he will speak about creativity as a key skill of the future.

Laura Bermudez, a leader with more than 25 years of experience from Silicon Valley (PayPal, eBay, Carta), will speak about the transformation of digital systems in the age of data and artificial intelligence, and about how technology is changing organisations and teams.
The creative team behind the film Svadba is also coming to Weekend.19 — Rene Bitorajac, Dragan Bjelogrlić, Anđelka Stević Žugić, Igor Šeregi and Ivan Kelava — offering a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most anticipated regional film projects.

The programme will also feature Milena Radulović, an actress building a career between the regional and international scenes. She will speak about working in different productions and about differences in professional standards, pressures and expectations.
New formats: Health.Weekend and Education.Weekend
Health.Weekend brings health beyond the framework of medicine, through topics such as digital solutions, artificial intelligence and the transformation of healthcare systems.
Education.Weekend opens a discussion on the knowledge and competencies of the future, bringing together professors, scientists, entrepreneurs, managers, HR experts and students at a time when AI is changing the way we learn and the labour market.
