Siemens Croatia Unveils Industrial Metaverse to Revolutionize Sustainable Business

Siemens Croatia unveiled its pioneering industrial metaverse, a cutting-edge technology set to transform the future of sustainable business operations

Siemens Croatia has taken a giant leap into the future of sustainable business by introducing its industrial metaverse, a technology poised to redefine the landscape of industry. This virtual world, almost indistinguishable from reality, is designed to empower individuals to collaborate and solve real-world challenges using artificial intelligence in real-time.

This groundbreaking technology facilitates the collaboration of diverse companies and teams, regardless of their physical locations. It promises a future where businesses can develop sustainable products faster, more efficiently, and cost-effectively.

The industrial metaverse by Siemens is expected to significantly optimize production processes. Estimates suggest companies could save up to 40% in energy consumption and 50% in materials required for production, while simultaneously boosting productivity by 20%.

Medeja Lončar, CEO of Siemens Croatia, emphasized the transformative potential of this technology at the “Shaping tomorrow, today” event in Zagreb, attended by nearly 400 business partners from across Croatia. “For nearly two centuries, Siemens has been at the forefront of transforming the world with innovations across industries. We are confident that the industrial metaverse will be a key driver shaping and empowering companies for the next 20 years,” she stated.

The event also featured Theo Papadopoulos, head of Siemens Industrial Metaverse Lab, offering representatives of Croatian companies a firsthand insight into the possibilities ushered in by this industrial metaverse.
