In the remote serenity of the Vlasina Plateau, something quietly revolutionary is happening.
Vlasinka, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia’s Rosa water factory, has just clinched the prestigious ESG Leaders 2025 award in the Environmental Strategy category, presented by PwC Serbia.
Recognised for its rigorous climate strategy and measurable outcomes, the plant has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 78% since 2017 — achievements verified by ISO 14064 certification.
Marking 20 years in the Coca-Cola system, Vlasinka now stands as the greenest factory in the group’s entire regional network.
Powered by renewables and guided by a zero-waste-to-landfill initiative launched in 2025, the factory isn’t just offsetting its footprint — it’s reshaping industrial norms.
Tatjana Stajković of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia said that sustainability was not just a slogan, but something embedded in every decision the company made.
She emphasised that with the natural beauty of the Vlasina region at its core and a clear focus on global climate goals, Vlasinka was not merely bottling water — it was bottling change.
