Podravka Agri Reshuffles Leadership

Marko Gladović takes the helm at Podravka Agrija, replacing Dalibor Smoljanović as the company sets its sights on a new era of growth

Podravka Agri, a leading agricultural subsidiary of Croatian food giant Podravka, has announced a significant reshuffle in its leadership team, with Marko Gladović stepping into the Executive Board.

Gladović, previously with Abbvie and IKEA, takes over from Dalibor Smoljanović, who held the position for just a month following Fortenovi’s acquisition of the company’s agricultural arm.

His appointment as the new financial head of the sector had been anticipated when the takeover was first announced.

Alongside him, Robert Spajić, a seasoned agricultural consultant with expertise in livestock, joins the leadership team, while Jelena Erker from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) joins as a new member of the Supervisory Board.

The new appointments come as Podravka Agri plans strategic growth through its subsidiaries Belje, PIK Vinkovci, and Vupik Vukovar.

All mandates for the fresh leadership team, including CEO Davorin Doko, will extend until the spring of 2029, marking a critical phase for the company as it seeks to consolidate its position in the agricultural sector.
