Montenegro Expands ‘Montenegro Quality’ Certification

Montenegro is doubling down on its commitment to excellence in tourism.

The country’s National Tourism Organisation (NTO CG) is inviting businesses across the hospitality and tourism sectors to apply for its prestigious ‘Montenegro Quality’ (MQ) certification, a distinction designed to set industry leaders apart in a competitive global market.

The initiative, which has already seen 27 tourism enterprises awarded the MQ seal, aims to elevate service standards and strengthen Montenegro’s appeal as a year-round destination. From boutique hotels and gourmet restaurants to national parks and ski resorts, businesses that secure the certification gain not only credibility but also enhanced visibility through NTO CG’s promotional channels.

For those in the industry, the benefits are clear: greater market recognition, increased exposure, and potential incentives from the NTO CG. More than just a badge of honour, the MQ label is poised to become a benchmark for quality across Montenegro’s tourism landscape.

By continuing to expand the programme, Montenegro is positioning itself as a leader in regional tourism, ensuring that visitors receive world-class experiences while exploring the country’s diverse natural and cultural heritage.
