Making Waves: Dina Levačić Becomes First Croatian Woman in Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame

Dina Levačić has made Croatian swimming history, becoming the first Croatian woman inducted into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame

Croatia’s own Dina Levačić has just made a splash in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame, becoming the first Croatian woman to earn a place among the sport’s greats.

Known for taking on some of the toughest marathon swims out there, Levačić joins a select group that includes Croatian legends Veljko Rogošić, Vicko Šoljan, and the Faros Marathon.

“This recognition means a lot,” Dina said. “It’s a huge honor to see my hard work rewarded and to represent Croatia alongside other legends.”

Dina’s resume is nothing short of epic. She’s the only Croatian to complete the Oceans Seven—a brutal marathon swimming challenge across the world’s seven hardest channels—and the first to conquer the Robben Island swim in South Africa. And just recently? She tackled an ambitious swim around 104 Dalmatian islands.

From conquering waves worldwide to celebrating her roots, Dina Levačić is making Croatia proud, one marathon swim at a time.
