As the 32nd Kopaonik Business Forum kicks off, all eyes turn to Serbia’s ambitious role in Expo 2027, promising economic growth, innovation, and global connections

The 32nd Kopaonik Business Forum, often dubbed the “Serbian Davos,” opened with a bold vision for Expo 2027, presenting it as a gateway to new economic horizons for Serbia and the broader region.

With over 1,600 participants, the central theme of this year’s forum, “Serbia 2027 – Striving for a High-Yield Economy”, underscores the nation’s determination to boost its economic footprint.

Mihailo Vesović, Deputy President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, emphasized Expo 2027 as a catalyst for Serbia’s growth, envisioning a surge in international partnerships and investments.

He stated that it was an opportunity for Serbia’s economy to expand and showcase the country’s innovation and sustainable development to the world.

Expo 2027 is expected to draw over four million visitors, with numerous business events and networking opportunities planned, including 10,000 B2B meetings.

Notably, the event is poised to cement Serbia’s position on the global stage, showcasing its infrastructure capabilities and potential for long-term business alliances.
