Denis Raos Honoured for Leadership in Maintaining Dubrovnik’s Pristine Beauty Amid Tourism Challenges

Denis Raos, head of the public cleanliness team in Dubrovnik’s Old Town, has been awarded the prestigious Employee of the Year 2024 title in the category of Environmental Maintenance and Management.

The award, presented by Mayor Mato Franković, recognises Raos’s leadership in overseeing a 32-member team dedicated to maintaining the city’s pristine condition, despite challenges such as the influx of waste during the peak tourist season.
