Slovenian companies are setting a new precedent this year with record-breaking Christmas bonuses, particularly in the pharmaceutical and ICT sectors.
Datalab Tehnologije, based in Ljubljana, has raised the bar with an exceptional €4,900 per employee, establishing itself as one of the most generous employers in the country.
Krka from Novo Mesto follows suit with €2,343, while Lek in Ljubljana has increased its bonus to €2,000, marking a €250 rise compared to the previous year.
In the energy sector, ELES and Gen Energija are disbursing €2,102, with Telekom Slovenije offering €2,343.
Although the public sector refrains from such payouts, these initiatives in the private sector underscore robust corporate performance, financial stability, and a commitment to recognising and rewarding employees in an increasingly challenging economic landscape.
