AmCham Serbia has begun 2025 with optimism, highlighting the election of two new members to its Board of Directors: Ana Drašković from VISA as the second vice president and Igor Lončarević of KPMG as re-elected Secretary-Treasurer.
Amalija Pavić, the Deputy Director of AmCham, presented an annual report that was nothing short of impressive, noting that the Chamber had closed the previous year with a record-breaking number of members—270 international and domestic companies, a collective workforce of over 119,000 employees, and a combined annual revenue of more than €21 billion.
President Stefan Lazarević emphasized the importance of this growth, underscoring AmCham’s responsibility to drive sustainable economic development and modernize Serbia’s infrastructure and business practices.
AmCham’s priorities for 2025 include digital transformation across public administration, judiciary, healthcare, and labor markets, aiming to keep Serbia competitive and resilient.
A focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles will guide efforts to support Serbia’s energy transition and environmental protection.
Strengthening economic relations between Serbia and the United States, particularly with the new U.S. administration, is also a key goal.
The leadership believes fostering reforms in rule of law, EU integration, and transparency will help Serbia prosper.
With record membership and a clear vision, AmCham Serbia is poised to play a key role in shaping the nation’s economic future in 2025 and beyond.
