Kosovo* Customs has announced a landmark achievement, surpassing the €1 billion mark in revenue collection for the first time in its history

This significant milestone underscores the institution’s commitment to enhancing processes and improving service efficiency, marking a pivotal moment for Kosovo’s economy.

The unprecedented revenue milestone is a result of several strategic initiatives. Key among these are the implementation of advanced customs systems and technologies, rigorous measures to combat smuggling and tax evasion, and comprehensive public education campaigns to promote compliance with customs regulations. These efforts have collectively bolstered the efficiency and effectiveness of Kosovo Customs operations.

Agron Llugaliu, the general director of Kosovo Customs, lauded the dedication and professionalism of the staff and acknowledged the support of strategic partners.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team. It highlights our collective effort to improve customs procedures and ensure compliance with the law,” Llugaliu stated, reflecting on the collaborative spirit that has driven this success.
