Perutnina Ptuj Strengthens Corporate Communications Team with Petra Skrivarnik

The appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion and major investment across the Slovenian food group.

Perutnina Ptuj has appointed Petra Skrivarnik to oversee corporate communications in Slovenia, as the company enters one of the most ambitious growth phases in its history.

Skrivarnik joins the communications team with extensive experience in media and public relations. Before joining Perutnina Ptuj, she managed public relations for the City Municipality of Maribor, while earlier spending more than a decade at Next Media Group, where she served as Executive Editor of Hitradio Center and also led the group’s public relations activities.

Her work has received industry recognition in Slovenia, including the Prizma award from the Slovenian Public Relations Society in 2023, followed by the international Gold Quill Award a year later.

The company says her arrival coincides with a period of accelerated business growth supported by an investment cycle worth nearly €100 million. Perutnina Ptuj currently employs more than 2,700 people in Slovenia and ranks among the country’s largest employers and key industrial players.

As part of its expansion plans, the group intends to create around 300 new jobs in Ptuj over the next three years, primarily targeting technically skilled professionals.

During this period, Skrivarnik’s communications focus will centre on employees and further strengthening Perutnina Ptuj’s reputation as a modern, sustainable and socially responsible employer.
