Slovenian Business Club Marks Its Traditional New Year Reception in Belgrade

The Slovenian Business Club hosted its traditional New Year Reception on 10 December 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade, bringing together members, partners and friends of the Club. The evening provided an opportunity to exchange seasonal greetings, reflect on shared business achievements in 2025, and further strengthen economic ties between Slovenia and Serbia.

Welcoming the guests, Club President Danijela Fišakov noted that, despite a challenging year, 2025 was defined by energy, innovation and meaningful business progress.

“Our members achieved important results, formed new partnerships and further strengthened cooperation between Slovenian and Serbian companies. The Slovenian Business Club remains a meeting point for ideas, experience and people who share a common vision—to build bridges between markets, companies and people,” Fišakov said.

She extended special thanks to the Club’s more than 150 members for their active engagement and contribution to the Club’s reputation, as well as to the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Belgrade, SPIRIT Slovenia, Serbian and Slovenian state institutions, business associations, media partners and long-standing supporters. Appreciation was also expressed to members of the Board of Directors for their continued support.

The audience was also addressed by H.E. Slobodan Šešum, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Serbia, who подчеркed the importance of bilateral cooperation and the role of the Slovenian Business Club in connecting businesses and strengthening the presence of Slovenian companies on the Serbian market.

Guests enjoyed a curated selection of wines and traditional delicacies from Slovenian and Serbian producers, adding to the festive and welcoming atmosphere of the evening.
