Ivan Bulatović Appointed as the New CEO of EPCG

Ivan Bulatović has been appointed as the Executive Director of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), bringing his extensive experience in the energy sector to the forefront of Montenegro's leading energy company

In a decisive move by the Board of Directors, Ivan Bulatović, an electrical engineering expert with a robust five-year tenure at the helm of SEE CAO, has been elected to steer the Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) as its Executive Director for the next four years. Following a competitive selection process, Bulatović emerged victorious among six applicants, one of whom withdrew, securing the majority vote to lead Montenegro’s premier energy company.

With a career that began at EPCG in 2004, Bulatović has carved a niche for himself in the energy sector, particularly during his tenure at CGES (Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem) where he served as the chief engineer for relay protection and testing before ascending to the role of Executive Director in 2014.

His journey through the ranks continued with pivotal roles in CGES, culminating in his leadership at SEE CAO, a key player in the allocation of long-term and day-ahead physical transmission rights across the Balkans. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Bulatović has also contributed to the energy sector’s broader community, holding a position on the board of Terna Montenegro and chairing the Chamber of Commerce’s Committee on Energy and Mining.

With his extensive background and leadership acumen, Bulatović is poised to propel EPCG into a new era of growth and innovation, underpinning Montenegro’s energy sector’s resilience and sustainability.
