Zagrebačka Banka Named Croatia’s Best Bank for 2024

Zagrebačka Banka earns top honour for excellence in Croatian banking

Zagrebačka banka has been honoured as Croatia’s Best Bank for 2024 by The Banker, reaffirming its position as a leader in the Croatian financial market.

The award, presented at a prestigious ceremony in London, underscores the bank’s dedication to delivering top-tier banking services. This recognition also marks the second consecutive year that UniCredit Group, Zagrebačka banka’s parent company, has been awarded both Bank of the Year and Best Bank in Europe.

Dalibor Ćubela, CEO of Zagrebačka banka, attributed the accolade to the hard work of the team and the trust of their clients, emphasising its role in driving the Croatian economy forward. Andrea Orcel, CEO of UniCredit, praised the group’s employees for their relentless efforts, which have been key to the success of UniCredit’s strategic transformation, UniCredit Unlocked.

Founded in 1926, The Banker is a globally recognised authority in financial journalism, making this award a notable achievement for Zagrebačka banka and UniCredit Group.
