Serbia Tops Russia’s Apple Import List in 2023

Serbia has emerged as the top exporter of apples to Russia in 2023, leading the import chart

From the start of the year until May 26, Russia has imported 178,300 metric tons of apples, with Serbia being the leading supplier, according to the Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service as reported by TASS. 

Serbia has exported 30,900 metric tons to Russia, followed by Azerbaijan at 28,400 metric tons, and China at 15,200 metric tons. In total, Russia’s apple imports reached 417,030 metric tons in 2023.
