Serbia Taps into Saudi Arabia’s Booming Food Market at Riyadh Expo

From frozen fruit to gourmet jams, Serbia brings flavour and ambition to the Gulf’s fastest-growing food fair

In the heart of Riyadh, at the prestigious Saudi Food Show, 15 Serbian agri-food companies are making a strategic play for a slice of one of the Middle East’s most dynamic markets.

Backed by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Development Agency, the national delegation spans two pavilions and showcases everything from frozen berries and fresh apples to organic jams, juices, and indulgent confectionery.

Held at the Riyadh Front, this third edition of the expo gathers over 1,000 exhibitors from 97 nations across 244,000m² of exhibition space, drawing more than 25,000 trade professionals.

Serbia’s presence underscores its growing export ambitions, especially in fresh and frozen produce.

As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a bold diversification drive away from oil, food innovation and import partnerships are in sharp focus.

With a young population and rising demand for premium, healthy products, Serbia’s offer arrives at the right time, in the right place — and with the right taste.
