Sarajevo to Host Tourism Expo 2025: Gateway to the Future of Travel

A regional showcase where tradition meets innovation in the heart of the Balkans

This September, Sarajevo will take centre stage as the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomes more than 200 exhibitors to Tourism Expo Sarajevo 2025.

From 25 to 27 September, the Skenderija Centre will transform into a hub for travel professionals, airlines, hoteliers, tour operators and start-ups under the slogan “Traveling to the Future.”

The expo aims not only to promote the country’s diverse tourism offer but also to foster regional cooperation and international connections.

Visitors can expect B2B meetings, tastings, cultural events and presentations showcasing both Bosnia and Herzegovina’s hidden gems and the wider region’s attractions.

Four expert panels will explore the industry’s most pressing themes — from digital transformation and sustainability to the impact of major events and health tourism.

Workshops will offer practical insights into destination branding, digital tools and product development, creating a dynamic environment for students, professionals and entrepreneurs alike.

As organiser Azra Džigal notes, the event is designed to amplify authentic local voices: “The true beauty of travel lies in diversity.”
