EUFOR Commander Meets BiH Deputy Defence Ministers

Talks focus on strengthening security cooperation

The commander of EUFOR Althea – Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Policy and Plans, Slaven Galić, and the Deputy Minister of Defence for Resource Management Aleksandar Goganović – to discuss strengthening security cooperation and maintaining stability in the country.

During the meeting, officials exchanged views on the current security situation and the role of EUFOR in supporting local institutions and preserving a safe and secure environment. The discussions also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between international forces and national authorities.

EUFOR representatives reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with defence institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to support stability and contribute to long-term security in the region.
