In a notable diplomatic excursion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has landed in the Republic of Srpska, heralding a new chapter in bilateral relations. Greeted at Banja Luka’s airport by Milorad Dodik, President of Srpska, and Prime Minister Radovan Višković, Orban’s visit underscores Hungary’s strategic interest in the Balkans.
Dodik lauded Orban as a “proven and sincere friend of Srpska,” signaling a warm bilateral rapport. Following his Sarajevo engagements, where Orban conferred with Bosnian Presidency members and the Council of Ministers’ Chairwoman, Borjana Krišto, his itinerary in Banja Luka includes high-level discussions and a Business Forum participation.
This visit, accentuating economic and diplomatic ties, demonstrates Hungary’s keenness in bolstering its influence and fostering robust partnerships in the region.
