Kupari’s Luxury Resort Transformation

The transformation of Kupari marks the beginning of a new era for the former military complex, with luxury accommodations and breathtaking landscapes replacing the aging hotels

After nearly a decade of planning, Kupari’s military legacy is set to be erased as a new era of luxury tourism unfolds.

The Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction, and State Property has granted a location permit for the long-anticipated reconstruction of the site.

With the green light to begin demolition, the transformation of this once-restricted area into a world-class resort is officially underway.

The complex’s aging hotels, relics of a bygone era, will be torn down, save for the iconic Hotel Grand, which will undergo an extensive renovation.

The former military hub will give way to a state-of-the-art resort, offering sophisticated accommodation and an enhanced natural landscape designed to captivate visitors.

This visionary project, launched by the renowned 3LHD architectural firm, first took shape in 2014.

Set within the stunning Župska Bay, Kupari’s transformation promises to redefine the Adriatic coast as a premier destination for luxury travel.
