Andrea Eggers Appointed CEO of Porto Montenegro

Adriatic Marinas has appointed Andrea Eggers as the new Chief Executive Officer of Porto Montenegro in Tivat, as former CEO David Margason shifts his focus to the continued growth and expansion of Adriatic 42 in Bijela

Eggers brings nearly two decades of international experience in real estate and destination management, having held senior positions across some of Europe’s leading mixed-use, retail and lifestyle destinations. Before joining Adriatic Marinas, she served as Retail Portfolio Director for Austria and Germany and General Manager at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, overseeing the strategic and commercial performance of a multi-asset portfolio.

Throughout her career, Andrea Eggers has worked across portfolio management, leasing, marketing, operations, hospitality and destination development. Her experience includes asset management, strategic partnerships, placemaking and the development of premium customer experiences, as well as building high-performing teams and commercially successful destinations.

Taking over the leadership of Porto Montenegro, Eggers said she was honoured to lead a project that has become an important part of Montenegro’s international tourism, investment and yachting profile. She highlighted the community surrounding the destination, including homeowners, yacht owners, residents, guests, partners and employees, saying Porto Montenegro should remain a place for the people of Tivat and Montenegro as well as international visitors.

Under new leadership, Porto Montenegro will focus on further developing the destination, expanding its international presence and strengthening its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading luxury waterfront destinations. Priorities will include sustainability, innovation, international promotion and attracting further tourism and investment to Montenegro. Eggers also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to cooperation with the Government of Montenegro, the Municipality of Tivat and institutional and business partners, whose collaboration has played an important role in the development of Porto Montenegro and its position on the international yachting map.
