Sandra Elkasević Secures Seventh European Discus Title in Rome

Croatian discus thrower Sandra Elkasević claimed her seventh gold at the European Championships in Rome with a commanding throw of 67.04 meters

Croatian athlete Sandra Elkasević clinched the gold medal in discus at the European Championships in Rome, marking her seventh European title with a throw of 67.04 meters in her opening series.

Competing previously under her maiden name Perković, Elkasević dominated the event once again. 

Dutch competitor Jorinde Van Klinken secured the silver with a throw of 65.99 meters in her final attempt, while Portuguese athlete Liliana Sa captured bronze with a 64.53-meter throw from her second series.
