Hungary finished the championship in second place, while Greece secured bronze. Serbia’s consistency throughout the competition stood out, with strong defensive organization and effective attacking play proving decisive in key matches.
Several Serbian players received individual recognition, with Dušan Mandić, Milan Glušac and Strahinja Rašović named to the Team of the Tournament. While the entire squad impressed, particular attention was drawn to young newcomers Vasilije Martinović and Milan Glušac, whose performances marked them as important figures for the future of Serbian water polo.
