Top olive oil producers from Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather on 6–7 September in Postira, on the Croatian island of Brač, for the 2025 International Adriatic Olive Oil Symposium—a regional event spotlighting quality, tradition, and collaboration across borders.
Producers from Herzegovina, where olive groves are gaining both scale and prestige, will join their coastal peers in showcasing oils that are beginning to win awards beyond the region.
Panels will cover climate-resilient cultivation, certification strategies, and the growing push for Adriatic origin labels to unify international branding.
Beyond agriculture, the symposium reflects a deeper ambition: using shared agro-cultural heritage to build soft power and sustainable business models. In a region where cooperation often stumbles in politics, the olive oil sector is pressing ahead—bottling collaboration, literally and symbolically.
