UN Security Council Extends EUFOR Mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The UN Security Council unanimously approved an extension of the EUFOR mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, underscoring the mission's critical role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Switzerland’s permanent representative to the UN, Pascal Baeriswyl, commended the unanimous adoption of the Resolution, noting that the Althea Mission significantly contributes to preserving peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and plays a pivotal part in stabilising the area.
