Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) has taken a bold step to expand its global leadership in automation by finalising a strategic investment in Croatian robotics and AI specialist, Gideon

Through this partnership, TICO aims to enhance its automated vehicle systems, with a focus on streamlining processes, faster deployment, and improving flexibility in warehouse and manufacturing automation.

Gideon, renowned for its cutting-edge Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) technology, operates in both Croatia and North America. Its advanced AI algorithms are set to elevate Toyota’s automation capabilities, particularly in trailer loading and unloading, as well as collaborative retail order picking

TICO’s autonomous vehicle software division, T-Hive, will be integrating Gideon’s technology into its global operations, marking a significant leap forward for Toyota’s automation efforts.

For Gideon, this collaboration offers unparalleled access to Toyota’s vast manufacturing expertise and global service network.
