Tamas Kamarasi Takes Helm of Montenegrin Banking Association

CKB Board President elected to lead national banking body

Tamas Kamarasi, President of the Board of Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka (CKB), has been elected Chairman of the Board of the Montenegrin Banking Association. The Association, a non-governmental and non-profit body, unites all banks licensed by the Central Bank of Montenegro.

Kamarasi emphasised that strengthening trust in the banking sector, raising standards, and supporting Montenegro’s economic stability and growth will remain top priorities.

“Through cooperation and knowledge-sharing, I am confident we will achieve significant results,” he noted.

With his extensive experience in banking, Kamarasi is expected to play a key role in advancing Montenegro’s financial market and reinforcing the sector’s position as a cornerstone of the country’s economy.
