Serbia Honours Eminent Figures in Statehood Day Celebrations

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić bestowed prestigious awards upon a diverse group of individuals and organizations in a ceremony celebrating Serbia's State Day, recognizing their significant contributions to the country

In a grand ceremony marking Serbia’s Statehood Day, President Aleksandar Vučić bestowed over a hundred decorations on distinguished individuals and institutions, recognizing their contributions to the nation. 

The event, graced by Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and government officials, commenced with the stirring rendition of the national anthem “Bože Pravde” by the Serbian Army Choir “Stanislav Binički”.

The honours list featured a diverse group of laureates, including diplomats, academics, literary figures, and athletes, highlighting the wide-ranging achievements that have contributed to Serbia’s cultural and intellectual heritage. 

This gesture of appreciation from the Serbian government underscores the nation’s commitment to acknowledging the hard work and dedication of its citizens and institutions in fostering national pride and progress.
