Montenegro Nominated as Europe’s Most Desirable Destination

Montenegro has been nominated for the title of Europe's most desirable destination in the prestigious Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2024, as announced by the National Tourism Organization (NTO)

According to the NTO, this nomination is a significant recognition for Montenegro, highlighting its growing reputation as one of Europe’s most attractive tourist destinations.

“Montenegro is already a well-known destination for readers of Wanderlust magazine, having been ranked among the top 10 most desirable emerging destinations worldwide last year,” the NTO stated.

Wanderlust, the oldest travel magazine in Britain, has been a leading publication for the past 31 years, with a special focus on sustainable tourism. Its mission is to inspire travelers worldwide to discover new destinations through authentic travel stories, stunning photography, and expert advice. With over ten million views annually and more than 100,000 readers per issue, Wanderlust is highly influential in shaping British travelers’ decisions on their next travel destinations.

In collaboration with the World Travel Market, the leading global tourism exchange, the awards will be presented at a prestigious ceremony on November 6 at Tate Modern, where NTO will also participate.
