Lopud Island Gears Up for a Summer of Film, Jazz, and Literature

Lopud Island announces a trio of festivals celebrating film, jazz, and literature in 2025

As winter settles in, the Croatia’s Lopud Island is already preparing for a cultural transformation in the summer of 2025. This idyllic destination will host a trio of extraordinary festivals, promising an unforgettable season of film, music, and literature.

The Ponta Lopud Film Festival, set for June 26th to 28th, will open the season with open-air screenings, masterclasses, and workshops, all framed by Lopud’s stunning coastal scenery. Film enthusiasts can look forward to a unique celebration of storytelling under the summer stars.

From August 28th to 30th, the spotlight shifts to music with the Ponta Lopud Jazz Festival. World-class musicians will take to the stage, offering jazz lovers intimate and captivating performances in an atmospheric seaside setting.

The summer will conclude with the Ponta Lopud Book Bridge from September 18th to 20th, a literary gathering that will bring together renowned authors and scholars for dynamic discussions, book launches, and thought-provoking debates.

With its blend of film, music, and literature, Lopud Island is set to become the cultural highlight of the 2025 Adriatic summer—a vibrant escape where art and creativity meet natural beauty.
