The dinner, held in one of Belgrade’s central hotels, gathered several influential businesspeople, including owners of construction companies and banks. However, no representatives from the Serbian government were in attendance.
After spending the night in Belgrade, Trump Jr departed for Bucharest the following morning, where Romanian media reported he would attend a similar event.
The US Embassy in Belgrade declined to comment on the visit or the event.
