Croatia Airlines Introduces World’s First 127-Seat Airbus A220-100

Croatia Airlines has welcomed its newest aircraft, the Airbus A220-100, registered as 9A-CAO and named “Dubrovnik.”

This is the world’s first A220-100 with 127 seats, making it the highest-capacity model currently in service. The airline plans to expand its A220 fleet to 15 aircraft by 2027.

Delivered directly from Airbus’ Mirabel facility in Canada, the aircraft will enter commercial service in October 2025.

It is expected to improve operational efficiency and passenger comfort, reflecting Croatia Airlines’ commitment to sustainability and modernisation.

This fleet addition highlights the airline’s strategy to modernise and strengthen its presence in the regional aviation market.
