Changing of the Guard at Ledo Plus

From driving sales to leading strategy – Bermanec steps into the top role at a crucial time for Croatia’s frozen food giant

In a strategic leadership shift at Croatia’s frozen food leader, Ledo Plus has appointed Petar Bermanec as its new head for the Croatian market, effective 1 June 2025.

Bermanec, a seasoned executive with over two decades in the FMCG sector, steps up from his role as Sales Director, where he has spearheaded impressive results since 2023 through sector transformation and the expansion of new sales channels.

He succeeds Andy Michaux, who has led the company since 2021, leaving behind a legacy of steady growth and operational excellence.

Bermanec expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him, stating that the company would continue to focus on meeting consumer needs and delivering high-quality products that are present in nearly every Croatian household.

Ivan Babić, General Manager of the Adriatic cluster at Nomad Foods, said that Bermanec’s proven track record made him the right choice to strengthen the company’s position and lead it toward future success.

Ledo Plus has been under the ownership of UK-based Nomad Foods since 2021, anchoring a regional network that includes operations across the Balkans.
