BASF celebrated its 40th anniversary in Serbia with a conference emphasizing the importance of innovation for advancing the Green Agenda and strengthening industrial competitiveness, while highlighting Germany’s role as Serbia's largest trading partner

Germany’s chemical giant BASF marked its 40th anniversary in Serbia today with a conference titled “Open to Innovation: Collaboration between Serbian and German Businesses” at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The event highlighted the critical role of innovation in ensuring the continuity of the Green Agenda and enhancing the competitiveness of industries and societies at large.

It was also emphasized that Germany remains Serbia’s largest trading partner, with Serbia’s strategic location, resources, and skilled workforce making it a key player in the region. The event underlined that international economic cooperation is vital for industrial progress, particularly in advancing sustainability efforts.
