Air Serbia recently made a significant donation of over 700 male uniforms to the Sremčica Children and Youth Centre, an institution dedicated to supporting young people with developmental disabilities.
The uniforms, which had been part of the airline’s previous collection, are now being repurposed for everyday use by the centre’s residents.
Jirži Marek, the CEO of Air Serbia, explained that the company’s tradition of corporate responsibility compels them to support the communities in which they operate.
He emphasized that the airline takes pride in contributing to those in need, underscoring the importance of inclusion and equality.
Dr. Marina Vidojević, the director of the Sremčica centre, noted that the donation was more than just the repurposing of clothing—it was an act of recognition and acceptance.
She stated that it reaffirmed the centre’s young residents were seen and valued by society, furthering their mission to integrate and empower them.
