Modine, a global leader in thermal management technology, has inaugurated a new 18,000-square-metre production plant in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, marking a significant expansion of its decade-long presence in the region. The opening ceremony featured U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, alongside Modine’s General Manager Neil Brinker and Serbia General Manager Dejan Nestorović.

The new facility represents a substantial investment of over EUR 27 million and is expected to significantly boost the local economy, with projections suggesting an annual export value exceeding EUR 100 million within the next three years. The expansion will also see the company’s local workforce double to over 700 employees.

Nestorović reaffirmed Modine’s commitment to continuous improvement and eco-friendly solutions, which have been a cornerstone of the company’s operations for over a century.

Brinker emphasized that the company’s focus on innovative heating and cooling solutions enhances everyday products for global consumers.
