Bosnia’s Digital Future with Amazon

A landmark partnership between BH Telecom and Amazon Web Services promises to revolutionise public sector services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, delivering cutting-edge cloud technology, AI innovation, and digital resilience

BH Telecom and Amazon Web Services (AWS) reported the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding focused on advancing cloud adoption in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s public sector.

The companies stated that the collaboration would position BH Telecom as a digital integrator, enabling the use of AWS’s global cloud infrastructure to modernise public and commercial services across the country.

They indicated that the partnership would prioritise key technical areas such as workload migration—especially SAP systems—data storage solutions, and the enhancement of BH Telecom’s streaming platform.

It was also announced that artificial intelligence tools, including those powered by Amazon Bedrock, would be part of the collaboration.

BH Telecom’s CEO, Amel Kovačević, said the alliance marked a significant step in modernising the country’s digital infrastructure.

AWS’s Tomasz Olejnik expressed excitement over the potential to drive innovation and support skill development within BiH.

The companies confirmed that BH Telecom had joined the AWS Partner Network, giving it access to training, tools, and collaboration with AWS partners to deliver advanced digital solutions nationwide.
