Hemofarm Acquires Fortacell to Boost Supplement Market Presence in the Balkans

Strategic acquisition signals Hemofarm’s commitment to immune health and innovation across all life stages

Hemofarm has announced the acquisition of Fortacell, a leading supplement brand focused on immune health and vitality, in a deal that spans five Balkan markets—Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Albania.

In a statement, Hemofarm said the move would bolster its portfolio with a high-quality range of vitamins, minerals, and amino acid-based supplements, produced to EU GMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001 standards.

The company described the acquisition as a strategic step aligned with its broader goal of delivering innovative, science-backed wellness solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern

consumers.

Ronald Seeliger, Hemofarm’s chief executive, called the deal a key milestone in the company’s efforts to strengthen its foothold in the supplements sector, noting that Fortacell’s range complements Hemofarm’s commitment to health across all life stages.

Zoltan Tamaš, CEO of Goodwill Pharma, which developed Fortacell, said the brand had achieved strong growth under their guidance and expressed confidence that Hemofarm would drive its further expansion across the region.
