Vodafone Albania Clinches ‘Best Mobile Network’ Title

Umlaut certification marks a milestone in country’s digital rise

Vodafone Albania has been officially recognised as the best mobile network in the country by the independent German benchmarking company Umlaut. The certification affirms the operator’s lead in speed, reliability, and quality, and reflects what its users reportedly already experience.

CEO Balazs Revesz credited the achievement to sustained investment in 4G and the nationwide expansion of 5G, now covering Tirana and major urban centres. He also noted that Albania is closing the digital infrastructure gap with the EU, with mobile quality now ranked “Top in the Western Balkans” in independent assessments.

The accolade reinforces Vodafone’s role in accelerating Albania’s digital transformation—and its broader ambitions to align with European digital standards.
