Slavonika Now Reaches Hungary: Croatia Completes Corridor Vc

Croatia has officially completed its stretch of the major European transport artery, Corridor Vc, with the opening of the final A5 motorway segment reaching the Hungarian border.

This milestone marks the culmination of nearly two decades of construction, forging a seamless north-south route from Budapest to the Adriatic port of Ploče.

The new 5-kilometer section, connecting Beli Manastir to Hungary, promises to invigorate eastern Croatia’s economy, enhancing trade and regional connectivity.

Built over challenging terrain with key structures like the Dukat viaduct, the project represents a €46 million investment in infrastructure and the country’s future.

With this final piece in place, Croatia not only strengthens its ties to Europe but also cements Corridor Vc as a vital corridor for commerce, travel, and regional development.
