Serbia Hosts Global AI Giants

Belgrade and Novi Sad to become Europe’s AI hotspots this June, with global tech titans set to chart the future of intelligence

This June, Serbia is poised to take centre stage in the world of artificial intelligence.

From 2 to 10 June, the AI Week festival will transform Belgrade and Novi Sad into hubs of innovation, hosting over 25 events across 10 locations — including hackathons, lectures and a major two-day conference.

Spearheaded by Startit founder Vukašin Stojkov, AI Week brings together some of the most influential minds in tech. Experts from Microsoft, Meta (formerly Facebook), and the rising AI powerhouse Perplexity will share cutting-edge insights on how AI is reshaping industries and economies faster than most realise.

With over 30 talks and two high-stakes hackathons, the festival aims not only to inform, but to equip businesses and professionals for a rapidly evolving market.

In Stojkov’s words, this is “a world-class opportunity to catch the wave — or risk being left behind.”
