Montenegro Promotes Local Goods

A new competition launched by the Chamber of Commerce aims to boost local producers and raise awareness about the importance of buying homegrown products.

In a bid to support Montenegro’s domestic industries, the Chamber of Commerce has launched the Buy Our Own competition.

Running from now until July 1, the initiative encourages consumers to buy at least three products from local manufacturers in any retail store across Montenegro.

Participants can enter by submitting receipts for a chance to win a variety of prizes, from family hotel stays to exclusive national park tickets.

The contest is structured in three rounds, with draws on May 6, June 5, and July 4, each awarding 165 prizes in total.

A robust prize pool features vouchers for local hotels, gift packages, annual family passes to national parks, and cable car tickets for the Kotor-Lovćen route.

With unlimited entries allowed, consumers are urged to support Montenegrin producers and contribute to the national economy.

This initiative promises not only to boost local businesses but also to foster a sense of community pride in supporting homegrown goods.
