Energoinvest Sparks BiH Industrial Revival

A historic partnership aims to rejuvenate Bosnia's industrial heritage while setting its sights on global markets

In a landmark move that promises to reshape Bosnia-Herzegovina’s industrial landscape, Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo has entered into a strategic partnership with Ares Trafo Ekipmanlari, marking the official commencement of transformer production in the country.

The agreement, signed in Visoko, will see Energoinvest establish a factory with an initial capacity of 180 transformers per month, expanding to 320 units in the second phase.

This bold venture will not only revitalize Bosnia’s manufacturing sector but also create up to 250 new jobs.

The project has garnered high-level backing, with Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić offering strong support.

He lauded Energoinvest’s return to growth, reflecting on its previous global presence in 109 countries, and promised government support to help the company reclaim its former international glory.

Energoinvest’s CEO, Mirza Ustamujić, emphasized that this milestone was merely the beginning, with ambitious plans to dominate European, Middle Eastern, and African markets, signaling a bright future for the company and the region.
