DRI Issues Positive Opinion on ANB Financial Report

Audit Highlights Overall Compliance with Minor Irregularities

Montenegro’s State Audit Institution (DRI) has given a positive opinion on the financial report of the National Security Agency (ANB) for the previous year. The audit confirms that ANB’s financial statements are largely accurate and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

However, the DRI also issued a qualified opinion regarding certain aspects of operational compliance, pointing out minor irregularities that do not significantly affect the overall financial position.

These findings highlight areas where internal procedures could be improved to ensure even stronger adherence to standards.

The audit underscores transparency in the management of public funds and reinforces accountability within Montenegro’s security sector. By addressing the noted irregularities, ANB aims to maintain high standards of financial integrity and operational efficiency.
