The Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has confirmed that the presidential election will be held on Sunday, 29 December, with 12 candidates expected to run for the five-year term.
Among the contenders are current President Zoran Milanović, independent candidate Dragan Primorac supported by HDZ, and various party representatives, including Miro Bulj, Tomislav Jonjić, Dražen Keleminec, Niko Tokić Kartelo, Anton Filić, and Mislav Kolakušić. Female candidates include Marija Selak Raspudić, Aurora Weiss, Ivana Kekin, and Branka Lozo, as reported by Novi List.
Polling stations will be available in around 50 countries, allowing Croatian citizens abroad to cast their votes, expanding on the 47 countries included in the last election.
