CIAK Group Acquires Bosnian Auto Parts Distributor Sim Impex

CIAK Group has announced the acquisition of Sim Impex, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s leading independent auto parts distributors

Sim Impex, based in Banja Luka, boasts a turnover of over €21 million and employs 245 staff across 33 locations throughout the country.

This acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic moves by CIAK Group. Last year, the company acquired Slovenia’s Potokar, following three acquisitions in 2021: Next Auto from Podgorica, Trgometal from Zagreb, and Auto Milovanović from Banja Luka.

In early 2023, CIAK Group also took over the local operations of German company Stahlgruber, further expanding its presence in the auto parts sector across the region.
